Ingredients
2 cups white chickpeas
1 tej patta
4 tsp tea leaves
5-6 kali mirchi
5-6 long
4-5 tomatoes finely chopped
2-3 green chilies finely chopped
Ginger finely sliced
Salt to taste
1 tsp red chili powder
1.5 tsp dry mango powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp oil
Procedure
Take a cooker and washed chickpeas, tej patta, tea leaves, long, kali mirchi and 1 tsp salt.
Add 1 liter water and let it boil for 5-7 mins.
Cover it with lid and bring 5-6 whistles.
Take a kadai and heat oil.
Add green chilies and tomatoes and cook well for 7-8 mins.
Add spices and mix well.
Add chickpeas without stock and cook well further for 10-15 mins.
Add stock and cook well for 15-20 mins on medium low flame.
For Serving (Serves -5)
Garnish it with sliced ginger and serve hot with kulcha/ puri/ lachha parantha and onion.
