Ingredients
500gms matar (overnight soaked)
1 big onion finely chopped
2 tomatoes finely chopped
3-4 green chilies sliced
Lemon juice
1/2 cup imli water
Salt to taste
2 tsp roasted cumin seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tbsp anar dana
2 tsp chaat masala
1 tsp dry mango powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp oil
Procedure
Take pressure cooker, add soaked matar and 3-4 cups water
Add 1 tsp salt and cover it with lid, give 3-4 whistles
Tadka
Take a kadai and heat oil
Add cumin and all the spices except anar dana and cook for a min
Add tadka in cooker and cook for 15-20 mins or till matar are in thick consistency
Add imli water and anar dana and cook for 4-5 mins
For Serving
Cut diagonally and garnish with nylon sev and serve hot with tomato sauce
