One Pot Chole Pulav

(Serves 2)

Ingredients


  1. 1 cup rice (washed and soaked in water)

  2. 1 cup boiled chickpeas (Chole)

  3. 1 onion paste

  4. 2 tomatoes paste

  5. 1 tbsp ginger garlic and green chili paste

  6. Salt to taste

  7. 1 tsp red chili powder

  8. 1 tsp dry mango powder

  9. 1 tsp cumin seeds

  10. 2 tbsp oil/ ghee



Procedure





  1. Take a cooker, add ghee.

  2. Add ginger, garlic and greenc chili paste and toss it for a min or two.

  3. Add onion and mix well.

  4. Let it cook for 5-7 mins on low medium flame.

  5. Add tomatoes and mix well.

  6. Cook for 8-10 mins on low medium flame.

  7. Add spices and mix well.

  8. Toss for a minute or two.

  9. Add boiled kidney beans and mix well.

  10. Add rice and 2 cups of water.

  11. Stir it well.

  12. Cover it with a lid and give a whistle.

  13. Simmer it for 2-3 mins and Switch off the flame,


For Serving

Serve hot Chole Pulav with Curd or Raita.. Enjoy!!
