Dahi Ghiya
Serves 2

Ingredients
1 Bottlegourd (peeled and roundly cut)
1 onion finely chopped
1 onion cut in cubes
1 capsicum cut in cubes
2 tomatoes finely chopped
1 tbsp Chickpea flour (besan)
1 cup whisk curd
Salt as per taste
1/2 +1/2 tsp red chili powder
1/2 + 1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/4 turmeric powder
1 tsp Kasuri methi
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 tbsp + 2 tbsp mustard oil
Procedure
Take a plate. Add in your botlegourd and coat it well in spices.
Sprinkle Chickpea flour and drizzle some mustard oil and coat it well.
Let it rest for 15-20 mins.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add your coated bottlegourd and nicely stir fry it on low medium flame for 15-20 mins.
Keep it aside.
In same pan, add 1 tbsp oil.
Add chopped onions and cook it well 7-8 mins or till it changes color.
Add chopped tomatoes and give it a nice mix.
Cook till it turns soft and mushy - for around 10-12. mins.
Add spices except salt, kasuri methi and garam masala.
Give it a nice mix and let it cook further for 5 mins.
On low flame, add curd and give it a nice mix.
Add 1 cup water along with that and on low flame, keep cooking.
After 10-15 mins, add onions, capscium along with bottlegourd.
Give it a nice mix.
Cover it with a lid and let it cook further for 10 mins.
Add salt, kasuri methi and garam masala.
Give it a nice mix.
For Serving
