Dahi Shimla Mirch Pyaaz ki Sabji

(Serves 2)

Ingredients


  1. 1 cup curd

  2. 1 medium onion finely sclied

  3. 1 medium capsicum finely slices

  4. 1-2 green chilies finely chopped

  5. 10-12 garlic finely chopped

  6. Handful Peanuts crushed

  7. Salt as per taste

  8. 1 tsp red chili powder

  9. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  10. 1 tsp coriander powder

  11. 1 tsp dry mango powder

  12. 1 tsp cumin seeds

  13. 1/4 tsp asafetida (hing)

  14. 1 tbsp chickpea flour (besan)

  15. 1 tbsp + 2 tbsp mustard oil

  16. Fresh coriander leaves / Kasuri methi for garnishing



Procedure




  1. Take a big mixing bowl.

  2. Add sliced onions, capsicum, green chilies and garlic.

  3. Add peanuts, along with the spices and 1 tbsp oil and mix it well.

  4. Keep it aside for 10-15. mins.

  5. Heat oil in a pan.

  6. Add cumin seeds and asafetida let it crackle for a min or two.

  7. Add prepared veggies mix and let it cook for 2-3 mins.

  8. Add besan and let it cook further for 5 mins.

  9. On low flame, add curd and mix it well.

  10. Let it cook for 2-3 mins.

  11. And your sabji is ready..
