Kadai Mushrooms

(Serves 2)


Ingredients

  1. 1 pack of mushrooms cut in half

  2. 1 tomato without pulp (cut in strips)

  3. 1 onion sliced

  4. 2-3 tomatoes paste

  5. 1 capsicum (cut in strips)

  6. 2 tbsp cream/ malai

  7. 1/2 cup milk (optional)

  8. Chopped garlic

  9. Grated ginger

  10. 1 tbsp oil

  11. 1 tsp Salt as per taste

  12. 1 tsp Red chili powder

  13. 1 tsp Dry mango powder

  14. 1 tsp Coriander powder

  15. 1 tsp Garam masala

  1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté ginger and garlic, toss for a min or two.

  2. Add tomato paste and cook well, till it changes color.

  3. Add spices and mix well.

  4. Add 1/2 cup milk or water and cook well for 5-7 mins.

  5. Add cream and stir well.

  6. Add veggies (onion, tomato and capsicum) and mix well.

  7. Cover it with a lid and cook for 7-8 mins.

  8. Add mushrooms and cover it for 10-15 mins on low flame.


For Serving

Garnish it with fresh coriander and serve with tandoori roti/ naan/ roti. Check our breads section for more amazing recipe.
