Ingredients
1 kg sarso (boiled)
4-5 tomatoes (roughly chopped)
3-4 green chilies
1 tsp grated ginger
7-8 red chilies
1/2 tsp asafetida
1.5 tsp cumin seeds
Salt to taste
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp dry mango powder
1 tsp coriander powder
2-3 tbsp ghee
Procedure

Take a grinder, add tomatoes, green chilies and sarso (boiled), grind it to smooth paste.
Add the paste in cooker and cook for 9-10 mins.
Add water (1-1.5 cup/s) and mix well.
Take a pan separately, add ghee.
Add cumin seeds and asafetida and cook for a min.
Add grated ginger and cook for 2-3 mins.
Add red chilies and cook further for 3-4 mins.
Add spices and mix well.
Add tadka in the cooker and mix well.
Let it cook for 10-12 mins on low medium flame.
For Serving
Garnish Sarso ka Saag with ghee and enjoy with makki ki roti.
