Makhne Penne

( Serves 2)





Ingredients


  1. 400 gms boiled pasta (of your choice)

  2. 1 big onions sliced

  3. 4-5 tomatoes chopped

  4. 2 green chilies chopped

  5. 2-3 red chilies

  6. 8-10 cashews

  7. 8-10 garlic cloves chopped

  8. 1 inch cinnamon

  9. 1 tsp garam masala

  10. 1 tsp kasuri methi

  11. 1/4 cup water

  12. 1/4 cup milk

  13. 1 tbsp cream

  14. 1-2 tbsp oil

  15. Salt to taste


Procedure





  1. Take a big pan.

  2. Add tomatoes, cashews, onions, green and red chilies.

  3. Mix well.

  4. Add water and cook till it turns soft.

  5. Switch off the flame and let it cool.

  6. One's cool, grind it to smooth paste and keep it aside.

  7. Take a pan, heat oil.

  8. Add garlic and cinnamon, toss for a min or two.

  9. Add garam masala and kasuri methi, mix well.

  10. Add tomato paste and mix well.

  11. Cook for 4-5 mins on medium flame.

  12. Add water 1/2 cup water and mix well.

  13. Cook further for 7-9 mins on low flame.

  14. Add salt and mix well.

  15. Add cream and milk, mix well.

  16. Cook for 3-4 mins and add boiled pasta.


For Serving

Garnish it with fresh coriander or kasuri methi and chili oregano sauce and serve hot!!
